Laramie Project: Ten Years Later... an Epilogue
October 12, 2009 • The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage, Santa Monica, CA
Eleven years ago Matthew Shepard was left to die on a fence outside Laramie, Wyoming. This year—on the anniversary of Mathew’s murder—GMCLA was joined by a star-studded cast in the premiere of the new play, Laramie Project: Ten Years Later... an Epilogue, by Moisés Kaufman, whose Tectonic Theatre Company went back to Laramie in 2008 to see what had changed—and what hadn’t.
GMCLA welcomed Mary McDonnell, Mary McCormack, Sharon Lawrence, Bradley Whitford, Charlotte Rae, Doug Spearman, Andrew McGinnis and Randi Driscoll—among others—in this one-night-only performance.
