We are saddened by the news of the passing of David Mixner, a true LGBTQ icon and tireless activist. In 2019, GMCLA had the incredible honor of presenting him with our Living Legend Award, recognizing his unwavering commitment to LGBTQ civil rights and groundbreaking HIV/AIDS advocacy.
David Mixner’s positive impact on our lives and his legacy will be felt for generations to come. Today we celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who dedicated himself to creating a world where love knows no boundaries. Rest in power, David.
