2025-2026 SEASON

A Season of Celebration.

Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) returns to the Saban Theatre for a new season of three thrilling concert weekends! Artistic Director Dr. Ernest H. Harrison leads our 200 Chorus members in Holiday Legends, And The Beat Goes On, and signature PRIDE concert and annual Gala, Declarations of Independence. Following this season, GMCLA will embark on a European tour at World Pride in Amstersdam and London in late July and early August 2026.

UPCOMING CONCERTS & EVENTS

GMCLA TOUR 2026

AMSTERDAM WORLDPRIDE & LONDON TOUR

AMSTERDAM, NL & LONDON, UK
JULY 31  - AUGUST 9, 2026

GMCLA will embark on a European tour beginning in late July and running through early August 2026. The Chorus is one of four ensembles from around the globe invited to perform at events during World Pride, hosted for the first time in Amsterdam, including a concert at the famed Concertgebouw. After this landmark week, GMCLA will continue to London for several performances at the Actors’ Church in historic Covent Garden.

FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF LOS ANGELES

Join us for a FREE community concert that brings together GMCLA and the best choral arts students from high schools across Los Angeles County.

An exciting extension of GMCLA’s much heralded Alive Music Project.

 

This performance is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. GMCLA’s High School Choral Festival and Alive Music Project are sponsored in part by the Dwight Stuart Youth Fund.

"COLORES DEL PUEBLO" ANNUAL DANCE RECITAL

Join us on Sunday, November 23, 2025, for Youth Culture Moves the World’s annual dance recital, where we explore the journey of human evolution and cultural growth through the art of dance. Featuring choral performances by GMCLA and dancing by Youth Culture Moves the World's Ballet Bravo and Grupo Folklorico. Entry is $20 per ticket.

This holiday season, GMCLA unwraps a celebration of the holidays featuring music from this gay icon whose music has inspired generations with laughter, love and acceptance. Featuring beloved Dolly favorites including Coat of Many Colors, I Will Always Love You, Light of a Clear Blue Morning, Islands in the Stream, and Hard Candy Christmas, a new version of 9 to 5, alongside treasured holiday classics including Happy Xmas, Where Are You Christmas?, O Holy Night, The Christmas Song, and Let It Snow. Heartfelt, hilarious, uplifting, and unmistakably gay, A Holly Dolly Holiday celebrates kindness, chosen family, and the joy of coming together at the most wonderful time of the year. GMCLA’s holiday concerts are always the highlight of the season in LA and, with a dash of Dolly, it will shimmer brighter than ever! â€‹

ROCK GODS AND ANTHEMS

Rock Gods & Anthems is GMCLA’s arena-sized celebration of the artists who broke the rules, shattered expectations, and gave us the music that blew our minds. From Queen, Journey, Tina Turner, Prince, Heart, Aerosmith, Alanis Morissette, Selena, Phil Collins, and Little Richard comes an unforgettable evening of powerhouse vocals and legendary hits, including Don’t Stop Believin’, Dream On, Proud Mary, Purple Rain, Barracuda, Love Shack, We Will Rock You, Under Pressure, and It’s All Coming Back to Me Now. Filled with electrifying performances from 200 singers and dancers we celebrate the fearless spirit of individuality that has always connected rock and LGBTQ+ community, this is more than a concert—it’s a full-scale rock spectacular where every audience member is invited to sing louder, love bigger, and celebrate living authentically.

GMCLA is excited to return to First United Methodist Church for another edition of our Community Sing-in. This FREE Community Concert bringing together Choral artists and exciting groups from across Los Angeles County to perform incredible music and engage the audience in a one-of-a-kind musical event!

 

This performance is supported by the LA County Department of Arts and Culture as part of the LA County Performing Arts Recovery Grant.

Inspired by the enduring legacy of The Golden Girls, Thank You for Being a Friend is GMCLA’s joyful Season Finale and Pride Celebration of chosen family, unwavering friendship, and the extraordinary communities we build together. Featuring the beloved television theme and songs sung in the series, along with iconic songs such as For Good, Seasons of Love, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Stand By Me, We Are Family, You’ve Got a Friend, You’re My Best Friend, Home, and more, this heartwarming concert reminds us that the people who love us exactly as we are become our greatest gift.
