Recent reports confirm more than 300 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced in states across the country.
HAVE YOU HEARD?
The news is troubling lately. With the rise of discriminating “Don't Say Gay” laws in state legislatures and the fall of Roe vs Wade nationally, to disturbing events even closer to home, we see LGBTQ civil rights are once again under attack.

DID YOU KNOW?
As books are being banned and rainbow flags are being stripped from classrooms, GMCLA’s Alive Music Project is there to show LGBTQ youth that their lives still matter. We sing songs of acceptance, love, and hope, and we speak about our personal experience with bullying in school and coming out to family. We provide safe and affirming spaces and activities where they are needed most, in the schools.
A 2022 national survey finds over 56% of LGBTQ youth reported being bullied, and almost 45% have considered suicide in the last year.
GMCLA's Alive Music Project gives hope to LGBTQ youth.
Our ALIVE MUSIC PROJECT in local schools has reached over 75,000 Los Angeles students since its inception.
